  • Comfort Olujumoke Eyitayo

    Comfort Olujumoke Eyitayo was appointed to the IFAC SMP Advisory Group (SMPAG) in January 2023. She was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

    Comfort Eyitayo is currently the Senior Partner of a small accounting, auditing, and tax practice in Nigeria. Prior to this, she was an Audit Manager with KPMG, Nigeria. She has over 35 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax practice and is responsible for a wide range of clients, including owner-managed companies and not-for-profit entities.

    Comfort was president of ICAN from June 2021 to May 2022, having previously served in several other capacities at ICAN, including as chair of key committees. She has served on the Governing Council of ICAN since 2007. She was the President of Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA) after serving as the Treasurer of the Association. She has served as a Board Member of Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). She is as a Technical Advisor to a Member of IFAC Professional Accountancy Organisation Development Advisory Group (PAODAG). 

    Comfort was conferred with National Honours Award as an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON). She earned an HND in Accounting, an Advanced Diploma in Economics, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting in the United Kingdom.

  • Muhammad Ali Latif

    Mr. M. Ali Latif became a member of the IFAC SMPAG in January 2022. He was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

    Mr. Latif has over 20 years of experience in the accounting & audit profession. He has served as President of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (2018-2019) and is currently serving as Vice President of ICAP (2020-2022). He has also served as an elected member of Regional Committee & Council of ICAP since 2009. He is a partner at M/s Muniff Ziauddin & Co., Chartered Accountants, representing BKR International.

    Mr. Latif is a Fellow Member (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), and a Fellow Public Finance Accountant (FPFA).

  • Tobias Polka

    Mr. Polka became a member of the SMPAG in January 2022. He was nominated for membership by the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer.

    From 2006 to 2015, he worked in tax at Grant Thornton in Düsseldorf. Since 2015, Mr. Polka has been a member of the Board of ADKL, an association of auditors, lawyers and tax consultants in the Rhineland area of Germany. Since 2018, he has served as a member of the supervisory board of MSI Global Alliance in London.

  • Danielle Supkis Cheek

    Danielle Supkis Cheek, CPA*, CFE, CVA

    Danielle Supkis Cheek is the VP, Head of Analytics and AI at Caseware International. Danielle joins Caseware after being the VP of Strategy and Industry Relations at MindBridge.

    Danielle earned her Bachelors from Rice University in Houston, TX, and her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.

    She is a Certified Public Account (CPA) in the State of Texas, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

    Danielle sits on the Technology Experts Group for the International Ethics Standards Board and is the US Representative to the IFAC Small and Medium Practitioners Advisory Group (SMPAG). She is also on the AI Task Forces for Assurance Services Executive Committee (ASEC) and for Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC). She is an at-large member of AICPA Council. She is a past Chair of the PCPS Technical Issues Committee and a past member of the Auditing Standards Board.

    Danielle is an 8-time 40 under 40 by the CPA Practice Advisor and was the Houston CPA’s Society’s Distinguished Member to the Profession for 2019. She was also the first woman to receive the AICPA’s Outstanding Young CPA of the Year Award in Honor of Maximo in 2016 and is a 6-time Most Powerful Women in Accounting by CPA Practice Advisor and AICPA.

    She is also part-time faculty at Rice University’s Jones School of Business teaching data analytics to the Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) students.

  • Monica Roxana Stefan

    With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial audit industry, Monica Stefan became a member in the IFAC Small and Medium Practices Advisory Group in January 2021 at the recommendation of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors.

    Ms. Stefan's audit career started in a Romanian Big 4 representative and continued after three years in developing and growing the audit component in the local Group SOTER & Partners. Currently, the Group is a local significant financial advisory company, with more than 26 years in the local market. Monica has been an authorized auditor with the Romanian Chamber of Auditors since January 2005 and an ACCA member since July 2004.

    Since 2010 Monica has been actively involved with the Romanian Chamber of Auditors, in working groups, task forces, and article writing, and in events organized by the Chamber. Throughout 2013-2014 she participated in the ACCA Forum for SMEs and developed an interest in raising a “voice” for this market sector.

    Effective Sept 2017 – Oct 2020 she was elected Council Member with the Romanian Change of Auditors and set her efforts into raising awareness on the importance of change in the national audit approach, the communication between institutions involved in the audit oversight and training programs for members. She is currently one of the representatives of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors with Accountancy Europe, in the AAPG and PEC Groups since 2017.
