    Mike Driver was appointed to the IFAC PAIB Advisory Group in May 2023, nominated by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy in London (CIPFA). 

    Mike Driver's career in public service started when he joined the Department of Health and Social Security straight from school. He worked in operational delivery before moving into regional management and then into a series of policy roles.

    Mike moved into government finance in 1999 and went on to hold a number of roles, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Department for Work and Pensions from 2012. In 2016 he was appointed as CFO for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), and, in 2017, as Head of the Government Finance Function (GFF) for HM Treasury. As Head of the GFF, he focused on driving the agenda to substantially strengthen the finance function's critical role at the heart of government.

    Beginning in August 2020, Mike spent six months as the Interim Permanent Secretary at the MoJ, before being appointed the Senior Responsible Officer for the Borders and Managed Quarantine Service. In September 2021, after 42 years, Mike retired from the Civil Service and now has a portfolio career. Mike is a member of the CIPFA Board and Council and is CIPFA President for 2021/22. He is also a member and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

  • CA Aniket Sunil Talati

    CA. Aniket S. Talati joined the Professional Accountants in Business Advisory Group in January 2024. He is the president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the term 2023-24.

    CA. Talati also chairs the ICAI research wing’s Accounting Research Foundation and Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) India as well as serving as a Board Director for ICAI’s Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals. He is also a member of the Insolvency Law Committee and the Standing Committee of MCA for review of the implementation of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016. During 2022, he was the Vice-Chairman of the ICAI Working Committee of the World Congress of Accountants in Mumbai in 2022.

    At the regional and international level, CA. Talati is a board member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants, represents ICAI on the Integrated Reporting and and Connectivity Council as well as ASEAN Federation of Accountants’ and Pan African Federation of Accountants’ board meetings. He is also a technical advisor to the IFAC Board and IFAC’s Professional Accountants in Business Advisory Group.

  • Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui

    Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui became a member of the IFAC Professional Accountants in Business Advisory Group in January 2023. He was nominated in January 2023 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

    Samiullah has been CFO at Oxford University Press in Pakistan since January 2018. Prior to this, he was CFO and Executive Director of Linde Pakistan Limited. He remained with Siemens Pakistan during 2000-2013 and served as CFO Energy business for Pakistan and Afghanistan, Director Commercial Telcom Business, Chief Internal Audit and Commercial Head of SAP Business.

    Samiullah has over 24 years of post-qualification experience. He qualified in 1999 with A. F. Ferguson & Co (a member firm of PWC) where he remined for a year as Assistant Manager Audit and Assurance. He has furthered his education and trainings at Harvard Business School, Said Business School, Babson University and Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is also a Certified Director as per the requirements of the Code of Corporate Governance.

    Samiullah is Council Member of ICAP since January 2022. Currently serving as Chair of the PAIB and Incubation Committees. He is also a member of Examination and Executives Committees. Previously he served in the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board and Education Committee. He also served as Member Taxation sub-committee of Overseas International Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

  • Lindawati Gani

    Lindawati Gani became a member of IFAC PAIB Advisory Group in January 2023, nominated by the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI).

    She is Professor in Management Accounting at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI). She currently serves as member of Academic Senate and Professor Council Universitas Indonesia, member of the National Council and the Indonesia Task Force on Comprehensive Corporate Reporting IAI, the Honorary Board of Code of Ethics the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, Executive Board Indonesia National Committee on Governance Policy, IFAC Membership Committee, and council member ASEAN Federation of Accountants.

    Professor Linda represents IAI in Chartered Accountants Worldwide, member of Accountancy Monitoring Committee Indonesia, Supervisory Board Indonesian Institute of Audit Committee, Advisory Board Indonesia Institute of Management Accountants, Executive Board of the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship, an independent commissioner, and audit committee in several publicly listed companies in Indonesia.

    Previously she was Director of Master of Accounting Program and Accounting Profession Education FEB UI. She obtained her PhD from FEB UI, MM in Management Accounting from FEB UI, MBA in General and Strategic Management from Institut Pengembangan Manajemen Indonesia, in affiliated with Harvard Business School, and Bachelor of Economics in Accounting, Universitas Airlangga. She is a CA Indonesia, a Fellow of CIMA and CGMA, and a Fellow of CPA Australia.

  • Esther Bosch

    Esther Bosch became a member of the IFAC Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Advisory Group in January 2023. She was nominated by the Royal NBA (The Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants). The last 25 years, Ms. Bosch has mostly worked in international business environments; in external accountancy at KPMG and internal audit and enterprise risk management at Air France/KLM and Royal HaskoningDHV. Currently, she is the Director Risk & Audit at Royal Schiphol Group. Prior to this she was Head of Internal Audit & Risk at Stahl Holdings; a global specialty chemistry supplier.

    She actively fulfills the role as Chair of the NBA member group of internal auditors and government accountants (NBA-LIO) in the Netherlands. Besides serving the interests of its members, the NBA-LIO Board also advises the main NBA Board on matters related to this member group and strives for alignment with other professional bodies like the Institute of Internal Auditors the Netherlands (IIA) and the professional association for IT-auditors in the Netherlands (NOREA). Furthermore, she was a member of the NBA ESGAssurance working group and she cooperated in other NBA projects.

    Ms. Bosch received the CPA, CIA and CRMA qualifications and holds a Master's Degree in Business Economics and a University degree in Accountancy.

  • Eric Freudenreich

    Eric Freudenreich was appointed to the IFAC PAIB Advisory Group in January 2021, following his nomination by the French Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC) and the Conseil National de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (CNOEC) of which he was the first ever PAIB to be registered in France.

    Currently, Mr. Freudenreich chairs the Supervisory Board of AEW COMMERCES EUROPE and serves as a non-executive director in various real estate investment companies. His previous role was as the Internal Control Director for a group specializing in tubular solutions for the energy market, that he joined in 2003 after working for eight years in accounting firms in Frankfurt and Paris.

    A Bordeaux Business School alumnus, Mr. Freudenreich's qualifications include being an Expert-comptable en entreprise, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Auditor, with certifications in Risk Management Assurance, COSO Internal Control, COSO Enterprise Risk Management, and the ESG Certificate in internal auditing for sustainable organizations. He is also active in academia, lecturing at Paris-Dauphine University, and serves both as a trainer for the French IIA Chapter and a member of its Quality Services.

    In addition to his advisory role with the IFAC PAIB, Mr. Freudenreich contributes to professional accounting governance in France. He is a member of the Registration Commission, operating under the Minister of the Economy, and playing a role in overseeing the registration of senior accountants with the CNOEC. Furthermore, he is involved with the Consultative Commission at the Ministry for Higher Education for the Professional Training of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the Technical College of the Association for Professional Accountants with elective or representative status, reflecting his commitment to the field.

    Milton Segal is qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with a master’s degree in commerce with a taxation specialization.

    He is an Executive Director in charge of the standards department at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).

    Within standards, Milton leads the technical team. The following key areas form part of this business unit:

    • Corporate Reporting – the IFRS team, the integrated reporting, thinking and sustainability team, as well as the Members in Business (Technical) team.
    • Taxation – policy, advocacy, training and thought leadership
    • Audit and Assurance
    • Legislation and Governance
    • Public Sector

    His expertise is in technical IFRS reporting, audit technical and non-financial reporting.

    A former academic, Milton led the Financial Accounting division for the internationally renowned School of Accountancy at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) where he was also the postgraduate program head.

    Milton is an established researcher and has published papers in local and international journals and has presented papers both within South Africa and abroad.

    He currently still examines master’s theses and serves as a reviewer for internationally rated research journals.

    Through SAICA, Milton sits on the Value Reporting Foundation (VRF) council, the International Accounting Standards Board’s (IASB) Emerging Economies Group (EEG), and The Integrated Reporting Committee of South Africa board.

    Sharon Ditchburn was appointed to the IFAC PAIB Advisory Group in January 2022 representing CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

    Sharon Ditchburn is the Managing Director/Founder of Capital Advantage Consultants, a Governance, Risk and Compliance advisory firm established in the Middle East in 2004. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Governance Institute of Australia, and the Chartered Governance Institute (UK and Ireland), also holding a Degree in Law and an MBA specializing in Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship and Strategy. She has been a Committee member of the Centre of Excellence for ESG for CPA Australia since 2018 and the Dubai Committee for CPA Australia from 2011.

    In a career spanning over 25 years in Australia and the Middle East, Sharon has performed senior finance, governance and compliance roles and delivered projects across a broad range of industries, ranging across financial services, energy, mining, IT and the public sector (sovereign wealth funds, stock exchanges and capital markets regulators). She continues to be a registered Authorised Individual in the roles of finance, compliance and/or risk for regulated financial services entities in the UAE and Kuwait, and is the Chairman of Independent Oversight Committees for several conventional and shariah compliant public funds in the UAE. She is also a Director and contributing partner in several other enterprises including corporate services, hospitality and waste recycling.

    Sharon is an experienced facilitator for Board and Governance training in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and was certified in 2008 by the IFC to deliver their global Corporate Governance Board Leadership Programme. She is a Member of the GCC Board Directors Institute’s Examination and Awards Committee and faculty member for the Certified Director Program. In 2005 she founded the ICSA Gulf Forum and later became the first Registered Tuition Provider for the Chartered Governance Institute (UK and Ireland) in the Middle East. She also is a senior facilitator for Governance, Risk and Compliance programs for various Institutes of Directors, Governance Institutes and professional training organisations. She is a recipient of the Solvi Stenbro Award for Ethics (QUT) and Distinguished Fellow – Hult University.

  • Nancy Sau Ling Tse, JP

    Nancy was appointed to the IFAC PAIB Advisory Group in January 2021. She was nominated by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

    Ms. Tse is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited (WHL), which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited as well as HSBC Provident Fund Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited- HPFT. She is also the Chairman of the Board of HPFT. She was previously an Independent Non-Executive Director of Link Asset Management Limited (Manager of the Link Real Estate Investment Trust–REIT), retiring in July 2023 after 9 years of service. 

    She is the former Chief Financial Officer and Director (Finance and Information Technology Services) of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, a statutory body which manages all of the public hospitals and outpatient clinics in Hong Kong.

    She also serves on the boards or committees of a number of charitable organizations and NGOs. She was a member of the Board of Governors of the Prince Philip Dental Hospital until 2023, having served for 6 years. She is an Adjunct Professor of The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.  She has been active in corporate governance projects and is an honorary advisor and member of Oversight, Policy and Governance Committee of the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Council.
