Webinars for the Sustainability Exposure Draft

On February 22, 2024, The IESBA held the first of its global webinars on the  International Ethics Standards for Sustainability Assurance (including International Independence Standards) (“IESSA”) and proposed Revisions to the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (“the Code”) on Sustainability Reporting. The presenters were Mark Babington, IESBA member and Sustainability Workstream 1 Chair, Richard Huesken, IESBA member and Sustainability Workstream 2 member, three IESBA Principals, Laura Leal, Jon Reid and Szilvia Sramko, and was moderated by IESBA Director Geoff Kwan.

The webinar featured a high-level overview of the proposed revisions to the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants (including International Independence Standards) (the Code) relating to Sustainability Reporting and an engaging Q&A session.
